“AHHHH! I’LL BE SO LATE!” screamed Kayla as she dashed downstairs and out the door, but she quickly came back as soon as she realized she got up way early. Kayla’s sister, Kylie hurried downstairs hearing Kayla scream,
What happened?” she asked. Kayla was a little embarrassed,
“Sorry Kylie, I overreacted, I was supposed to wake you guys up later,” said Kayla.
“But why?”
“Don’t you remember? I have to get to the elementary school before 9:00, the camp’s starting, and my friends and I are the girl’s counselors,” said Kayla.
“Oh yeah, how could I forget? That’s all you were talking about since you found out you’re a counselor,” said Kylie.
“Yeah, sorry, but I have to leave soon,” said Kayla.
“But it’s 7:30, you said you have to be there at nine,” said Kylie.
“Yeah, but mom said that we would pick up Nikki, Lola, Di and Steph, and it takes about 20 minutes to get to Lola’s house, and then we have to put their things in, and go to the school, and we have to eat and get ready too, so I think I should wake mom up now,” said Kayla.
“Don’t wake her up. I’ll drive you, you just change and come to eat, then we’ll go,” said Kylie.
“Yeah, I just realized that I didn’t change eat or anything, I almost even forgot my stuff, thanks,” said Kayla.
“Wow, that would be very bad. But, I forgot, why only Lola’s house?” said Kylie.
“Because everyone’s going there since it’s the closest, be right back,” said Kayla, and she ran up the stairs.
Kayla and Kylie drove up to Lola’s house, they got out and helped put everyone’s things into the van,
“I don’t believe everything fits, I like your car,” said Lola.
“Yeah, it saves us a lot of space on trips” said Kayla.
“Nice, more leg room for us,” said Nikki. They all laughed. Once they got everything in the car, they sat down and left.
“Man, I can’t believe that we get to go back to Lake Summit again, this time my camera will be completely filled, I especially love taking pictures of the hike and the mountain,” said Nikki.
“Me too, it’s so beautiful” said Diane.
“Well one of my favorite things about this is six days and four nights here out of school,” said Kayla.
“And especially away from that Miranda Shelly,” said Diane.
“Definitely,” said Stephanie, “She hates us, and we hate her.”
“We don’t ever talk to her,” said Lola.
“And she still wants to hang out with us,” said Kayla.
“I don’t get her!” shouted Diane.
“I’m sure she’s not that bad,” said Kylie.
“She is. She absolutely loves to get us in trouble for no reason,” said Stephanie.
“And over all, she’s such a huge hypocrite!” cried Kayla.
“Well then just leave her alone, if you talk to her then she’ll talk back, and then it’ll be a huge argument, which you’ll end up losing, then you’ll just get in trouble again,” said Kylie.
“You’re right, thanks,” said Stephanie.
“No problem,” said Kylie, she stopped the car, “we’re here, don’t forget to call when you get there.”
“Okay, bye,” said Kayla.
“Bye, thanks,” said the girls.
“Bye,” said Kylie. Then she drove off, and the girls ran inside.
