A Day at Camp
The next morning the girls got up and left the cabin to help get breakfast ready,
“Hey guys, you wouldn’t believe the dream I had,” said Diane, “we met this creature called Lena and we had powers and wands, dresses and everything.” Everyone looked at each other,
“Hey, Di, you know, I had that same dream, you know why?” said Kayla.
“Because it wasn’t a dream,” said Stephanie.
“I was afraid of that,” said Diane.
“Yeah, it did feel like one,” said Lola.
“But I really wish it was,” said Nikki.
“Yeah, just think, now our live will be so different,” said Lola.
“Yeah, but come on, let’s talk about something else,”
said Kayla. The teachers came back with the students
they had breakfast, after they ate the girls split up to go in
three separate groups, Nikki and Diane went with the
fishing group, Lola went with the group that did outdoor
survival, and Kayla and Stephanie went with the group that went
swimming,
“You know Kayla, I think we got the best group today, just love swimming,” said Stephanie.
“Definitely,” said Kayla. By the time they were all
finished it was lunchtime. The girls met up outside before they started eating,
“Hey,” said Kayla.
“Hi, so how was your activity?” said Nikki.
“Awesome, we had a lot of fun, but you’ll find out when
you go,” said Stephanie.
“Yeah, but at Lola will get to go tomorrow, we have to
go to outdoor survival tomorrow,” said Nikki.
“You know, survival is really fun you’ll like it a lot,” said
Lola.
“I guess, but I feel sorry for Stephanie and Kayla, half
a day with fish, stinky, smelly fish,” said Diane.
“Way to rub it in Di,” said Kayla.
“I feel more sorry for Lola, her last group activity at
camp and she’ll smell so badly, and she’ll be all alone
too,” said Stephanie.
“Thanks, I feel much better,” said Lola.
“Anyways, I think we have to go inside, after lunch
we’re going to an animal rescuer person,” said
Stephanie.
“We have to listen to a marine biologist,” said Lola.
“Well, we have to go to a boring game that teaches you
to use compasses,” said Diane.
“This is really getting boring,” said Kayla.
“Probably because we’ve heard it all before and done it
all too,” said Nikki.
“Girls, come on,” said a voice. The girls ran inside.
