Guardians-Chapter 6

Hiking
The next day after all the activities and speakers were
done, the teachers told all the students to go back to
their cabins for 20 minutes to get ready for the hiking
trip. Since the girls were already ready they opened
the locket and let Lena out. When she came out she
was surprised, so were the girls. Lena had a chef’s hat
on a tiny apron just for her, and a plate full of cookies,
“Uhh, Lena? What?” asked Nikki. Lena quickly took off
her hat and apron,
“Umm, cookies?” she asked.
“Huh?” everyone said.
“Actually, I got hungry, so I started making cookies,
want some?” she said. The girls each took one,
“Thanks, these are really good,” said Kayla. The girls
heard a knock, they immediately closed the locket, and
their old teacher, Mrs. Rosenberg, came in,
“Girls, we’re going now, come on,” she said.
“Umm, Mrs. Rosenberg? Wait,” said Diane.
“Yes?” asked Mrs. Rosenberg.
“Well, my friends and I were wondering if we could go
hiking off trail?” said Stephanie.
“Well, okay, I guess we have the boys too,” said Mrs.
Rosenberg.
“Thanks so much,” said Diane.
“But I need your numbers, just in case,” said Mrs.
Rosenberg. The girls all wrote their numbers down,
and they exchanged papers,
“Okay girls, have fun,” said Mrs. Rosenberg, and she
left the cabin.
“Yes, hurry, I want to know what I can do and what
powers I have fast,” said Kayla.
“Same here,” said Nikki.
“Let’s go,” said Kayla.
“Wait, did you get the locket and the wands?” said Lola.
“Oh yeah,” said Stephanie. They each took their wands
and Kayla took the locket and they left.
