Chapter Twenty Four

Kayla finally reached the castle, even though she really hated Sorbian, she was kind of relieved that she’d finally reached her destination.
“Lena, is this it?” she said.
“Yeah, this is it,” said Lena. They cautiously, and slowly, moved forward, they had no idea what would spring up in front of them, but surprisingly, they were just able to walk right in. The door closed behind them, and they saw bright lights, and ran towards them.
“Lena, are these…?” Kayla said.
“Yeah, hurry, let’s grab them and go,” said Lena. Kayla picked them up and ran, but she couldn’t open the door. Suddenly, she heard a loud laugh that surrounded the room,
“What did you think? That I was just going to let you go, nonsense, you could never win,” it was Sorbian’s voice. They looked around, but couldn’t see him,
“Where is he?” asked Kayla.
“I, I don’t know,” said Lena. He appeared in front of them,
“You will never get out of here alive, never!” he yelled.
“RIBBON BUBBLES RING!” cried Kayla. She tried to hit him, but he just easily dodged it.
“That’s not going to work on me,” said Sorbian, “Dark Ball!” He started to attack. He knocked Kayla to the ground,
“Kayla!” cried Lena. She ran up to her, but Sorbian trapped her,
“We can’t have you interfering now can we,” he said. Lena tried to escape, but failed. Sorbian turned back to Kayla, who had already gotten up. He continued attacking her, she was continually getting tossed around because of Sorbian’s attacks. The whole time, Lena was watching, she couldn’t bear it anymore, after trying; she finally scratched her way through. Lena leaped on top of Sorbian, she scratched him, and she even scratched his eyes, so he was now blind,
“You stupid cat!” he cried. And he tossed her across the room, and she became unconscious.
“Lena!” cried Kayla. She ran to her and picked her up,
“Now we can continue our battle without interruptions,” said Sorbian.
“You won’t get away with this,” said Kayla. Kayla started attacking him,
“Ribbon Bubbles Ring!” she said. Since Sorbian now couldn’t see where she was attacking from, he couldn’t dodge it. After a few hits, Sorbian used his healing abilities to cure his eyesight,
“Now, let’s have a real fight,” he said. They attacked back and forth, they were both getting beat up badly, but they both refused to give up, she couldn’t back down, not now! They both attacked each other at immense speed, until, they both couldn’t take it, and finally fell. Kayla couldn’t move an inch; she had to use all her strength just to stand,
“What’s wrong with me? I should have more energy,” she said.
“Kayla,” Kayla heard a voice in her head. She immediately recognized it,
“Nikki?” she asked.
“Yeah, it’s me,” said Nikki.
“And us too,” said Stephanie.
“Kayla, come on I’m here too,” said Lola.
“You guys, you’re okay,” said Kayla.
“Kayla, listen,” said Diane, “we only have a little energy left.”
“And we’ve already decided to give it all to you,” said Lola.
“What?” said Kayla.
“It’s already been decided,” said Stephanie.
“Kayla, you have to finish this, not us,” said Nikki.
“You guys…” started Kayla.
“There isn’t any time,” said Diane, “ use the book, trap him!”
“It’s all up to you,” said Nikki. Kayla agreed. She suddenly felt ten times stronger,
“Thanks,” she said. She walked over to Sorbian; he also stood up,
“You don’t have anything left,” he said, then he laughed.
“I don’t think so,” said Kayla.
“You’re bluffing,” he said uncertainly.
“”BUBBLES, AQUA, RINGS!” Kayla said with as much strength as she had. Kayla tried trapping him, the book floated in front of them. Sorbian tried fighting back; Kayla thought she was going to lose, but then she felt her friends around her, she fought back, and after a long battle, Kayla won! She finally trapped Lord Sorbian in his book!
“I did it, we did it, I can’t believe it, I, I…” stammered Kayla. Lena walked up to her.
“Kayla, you did it, you beat him, now this book will be sealed forever,” she said.
“Yeah, y…” before Kayla could finish his sentence, she fainted. Lena wasn’t worried; she just smiled,
“Please take them back, let them live a normal life, let them forget all of this,” she said. A tear fell from her eyes; then Kayla slowly faded away. Back outside the same thing happened to Nikki, Lola, Stephanie, and Diane. They all floated back to Earth, to once again start living normally, with no recollection, whatsoever of the demons, Lord Sorbian, or Lena.
The next day, Kayla ran out the door,
“I’m going to Nikki’s mom, bye!” she cried. Lena was standing on the roof,
“Yep, everything’s definitely back to normal. But I wish we could be near each other again,” she said. Then she had an idea. Lena jumped in front of Kayla and purred,
“Aw, what a cute cat,” she said, “well, you don’t have a tag, maybe I can keep you.” Kayla ran home, and her mom agreed to keep Lena. They were all happy, Lena was back with them, the demons were gone, and now they could all live their lives according to how they wanted to, and no secrets.

Moving On

They turned around and saw another witch, but she was different from the first one,
“Who are you?” asked Nikki.
“I am the second dark cloud sister, and the last one you will see, I am Fagin,” said Fagin.
“Kayla, I’ll fight her, you and Nikki have to get to Sorbian,” said Lola.
“But…” started Nikki.
“Nikki, we all know that Kayla is the only one that really actually can beat him, and you have to clear her path and protect her. If both of us fight, then we can’t guarantee that Kayla will reach,” said Lola.
“Fine, but, just promise me that you’ll be careful,” said Kayla.
“Don’t worry about me, just go,” said Lola. Then Kayla and Nikki left.
“If you’re done, I’d like to finish this,” said Fagin.
“I’m your opponent, Rose Bloom!” cried Lola. She tried to pull Fagin towards her, but Fagin cut it off,
“Your childish attacks aren’t going to work on me,” she said.
“We’ll see,” said Lola. She hit her again, but it didn’t work, then Fagin blasted Lola,
“AHH!” she screamed. Lola fell to the ground. Fagin kept hitting her, blast after blast; Lola didn’t have time to even get up. Fagin kept hitting her; until Lola knew that if she got hit one more time, then she’d be finished.
“I have to hit her at full strength,” said Lola. When Fagin was charging her final blow; Lola gathered enough energy for one last attack,
“ROSE, BLOOM!” she yelled. Both of their attacks hit at the same time,
“NO! I can’t be defeated, you and your little friends will pay!” cried Fagin, and she disappeared.
“Yes, I did it, now I have to catch up wi…” said Lola. But, as soon as she got up, she fell down again, and went into a deep sleep.
The whole time, Nikki, Lena, and Kayla were watching the battle from afar, and they couldn’t believe what had happened, they had already lost three guardians,
“No, no way, this can’t be,” said Kayla. Nikki put her hand on Kayla’s shoulder,
“I know, but we have to keep going, if we don’t, then everything that Steph, Di, and Lola have worked for, will go to waste,” she said.
“Nikki’s right, we have to keep going,” said Lena. Kayla nodded her head, and they walked.
Kayla, Nikki, and Lena were the only ones left now, the wandered around, following the stone path, but Kayla was losing hope. Everyone was sad; they had just lost Stephanie, Diane, and Lola. It was all they could think about, until, suddenly a hand came out and grabbed Nikki by the neck.
“HELP!” she yelled. They saw another witch, but she was bigger, and she seemed stronger than the other two,
“I am the last of the sisters, Norse,” she said.
“Let her go!” cried Kayla. She started to run towards Norse and Nikki,
“NO!” said Nikki. Kayla stopped.
“What?” she said.
“I got this, go now, Lena, you and Kayla have to go,” said Nikki. Lena nodded,
“Kayla, we have to go, she’s doing this so that you have a chance to escape, come on,” she said.
“But…” Kayla started.
“I can take care of myself, GO!” said Nikki. And Kayla reluctantly left. When they were gone, Nikki used her powers over water to use the snow as a whip. And Norse let her go.
“How dare you!” she said.
“That is enough, you’re not going past this point, your fight’s with me now,” said Nikki.
“Okay, I always love a good warm up,” said Norse. Then they started their battle.
“Aqua Rings,” said Nikki. It was a direct hit, but, it couldn’t keep Norse for long, she soon broke through it,
“Sorry, my turn, Head Splitter!” said Norse. It hit Nikki, and she fell, but soon got up,
“Nice,” said Nikki. She gathered all the water she could from the snow, and bound Norse again, this time so tightly, that she couldn’t move a muscle, but she soon broke free. Norse and Nikki kept attacking each other for a while, until they were both tired,
“I can’t take this anymore, I can’t battle, I’m too worn out,” Nikki said to herself, “I’m really sorry Kayla.” Then Nikki saw Norse; she realized that she was even more tired than her. Nikki got up; she used a whip and wrapped it around Norse’s neck,
“Time to go, AQUA RINGS!” cried Nikki. Norse Disappeared, and Nikki fell.
Kayla and Lena looked back; they couldn’t sense Nikki’s energy anymore. Kayla fell to her knees,
“Kayla, I know what you’re going through, I know exactly how you feel, but, if you ever want them to come back, then you have to defeat Sorbian, and trap him in the book,” said Lena.
“I know, and you’re right, this fight is now between me, and him, come on Lena,” said Kayla. She had a stern look on her face, she got up and continued clearing the path, and moved on.

The Sisterhoods

The girls looked around, but they couldn’t see anything,
“It must be ahead, come on, let’s go,” said Kayla. And they walked off.
In Sorbian’s lair, he was watching the guardians coming towards him,
“NO!” he yelled, “They can’t come here, I have to stop them, I have to! But how?” they thought for a while, but couldn’t come up with anything,
“*Groans* those little guardians killed off all of my precious demons, of else I would have had them destroyed!” he then remembered, “Yes, that’s it!” he threw three cards in the air,
“Sercy, Norse, Fagin," said Sorbian. And in their place appeared three ugly witches,
“The Dark Cloud Sisters are here to serve you, what do you command master?” they said. He pulled up the girls on his screen,
“See these girls? They are the guardians, they are little pest who keep getting in my way,” said Sorbian.
“What would you like us to do?” asked Norse, who looked to be the oldest.
“I want you, by any means possible, to eliminate them,” said Lord Sorbian.
The girls were scared, cold, and lost, they’d been wandering for a while now, and they had no idea weather they were going in circles, or weather or not if they were going in the right direction. Kayla fell to her knees,
“It’s no use, we’ll never save our families, we don’t know what to do, or where to go,” she cried. The others knew it too, Lena was looking at them helplessly, but then she got an idea,
“Kayla, I have an idea!” she said. Kayla looked at her,
“What is it?” she said.
“Get out your wand and remember your family, friends, and everyone you love,” said Lena. They were all confused, but Kayla did what she was told, and remembered everyone,
“Mom, dad, Kylie, Matt, Meg, Sarah, Lena, Lola, Di, Nikki, Steph, I can’t let them down! Wait, what are these words, they’re in my head, I can’t get them out!” she thought, “SPIRITS OF MAGIC, SPIRITS OF LIGHT, PLEASE, GIVE ME THE STREGNTH AND POWER TO FIGHT!” Kayla closed her eyes, she saw a path made of stones, covered by snow, and at the end, she saw a dark castle, and inside was Sorbian, surrounded by ten spirits. She opened her eyes again and stood up,
“What happened Kayla?” asked Nikki. Kayla paid no attention to anyone, she cleared the ground of snow, and sure enough, there was a stone path,
“Guys look, I saw the way to Sorbian, we have to follow the stone path,” she said.
“Perfect, Nikki and I can clear the path, we’ll be there in no time, let’s go,” said Stephanie. The walked on, while Stephanie and Nikki took turns clearing the snow. After walking for a long time everyone got tired, so they sat down for a moment. While they were resting, Diane saw something in the snow, and went over to it. After she got a lot closer to it, she saw it was a rose, she immediately got confused,
“A rose? Here?” she said. She reached out to touch it, but the second she did, it sprang up out of the ground, trapping Diane,
“AHHH! Help me!” she cried.
“Di!” yelled Stephanie. The all ran to help her, but Stephanie stopped them,
“Steph, what are you doing?” said Nikki.
“You guys go on, I’ll help Di,” said Stephanie.
“But…” Lola started.
“Look, this is between me, my sister, and that thing,” said Stephanie. The girls tried to argue with her, but in the end, they lost,
“Fine, we’ll go, but, just be careful,” said Kayla. Stephanie smiled, and Kayla, Nikki, Lola left.
“Alright you monster, let her go,” said Stephanie. The monster just laughed,
“I am Sercy, I am the first of the Dark Cloud Sisters. Once I’m done with you, I’ll finish off all the others,” said Sercy.
“We’ll see,” said Stephanie.
“Steph! HELP” said Yelled Diane. Stephanie shot flames out at Sercy, which barely damaged her,
“Ha, you think you can hurt me with an attack as weak as that?” said Sercy.
“Nope, but that wasn’t the plan,” said Stephanie. She pointed to the place where Diane was. Sercy realized what her plan was; she wanted to first free Diane. Diane ran next to Stephanie,
“Thanks, let’s hurry, we have to catch up to them,” said Diane.
“BITS FIRE BARRAGE!” yelled Stephanie. Sercy dodged it,
“CUPID’S ARROW!” yelled Diane. But Sercy caught it and threw it away,
“Your magic tricks aren’t going to work on me,” she said. But they kept shooting her; then Sercy shot Diane and Stephanie with a powerful blast,
“What’s going on?” asked Diane.
“I can’t stand up,” said Stephanie. Then they both fell to the floor. But Stephanie notice something, the more Sercy hit them, the more her defense was lowered,
“That’s why she’s continually hitting us, so we don’t have a chance of damaging her,” she thought.
“Di,” she whispered to Diane.
“Yeah?” Diane said back.
“Look, I need you to distract her, then, while she’s attacking, I’ll go hold her, then you stun her and I’ll attack, okay,” said Stephanie.
“But, it’ll hit you too, won’t you be stunned?” said Diane.
“I’ll get hit, but I won’t be stunned, just trust me, we have to help the others,” said Stephanie.
“Okay, let’s go,” said Diane. While Sercy was attacking, Stephanie quietly slipped away; she sneaked up behind her, and then suddenly held her arms behind her back and bound her legs,
“Now Di!” cried Stephanie. Diane reluctantly shot an arrow at Sercy; it hit both Sercy and Stephanie,
“I’m so sorry Steph,” said Diane. Then she cried and fell.
“BITS, FIRE, BARRAGE!” yelled Stephanie. It hit Sercy who closed her eyes and disappeared, and then Stephanie also fell next to her sister, smiled, and closed her eyes too.
Kayla and the others looked back, they knew what had happened, but they also knew that they had to keep moving forward.
Along their way the girls felt a cold wind,
“I think it just got colder,” said Lola.
“You’re absolutely right,” said a voice behind them.

Gone

Kayla saw her family once she reached home, but, not as she expected, they were lying on the ground, and they were cold,
“LENA! COME HERE, HURRY!” Kayla Yelled. Lena came down in an instant,
“What’s wrong?” asked Lena.
“What’s wrong with them?” asked Kayla. Lena checked them, and looked at Kayla,
“Um…Kayla, I don’t know how you’ll take this, so I’ll just say it,” said Lena. Kayla’s heart sank,
“What?” she cried.
“Their spirit has been taken, and I think you know,” said Lena.
“Sorbian! And if this is what he did to my family, then he must have done the same to he other’s too!” said Kayla.
“Quick, we have to hurry,” said Lena. Then they ran out the door.
The girls met up at the park and they were all frantic,
“Lena, what do we do?” said Nikki.
“What’s happening to our parents?” said Stephanie.
“Guys, I know, what happened, but worrying isn’t going to help,” said Lena.
“Well then you tell us what to do, we have to help them,” said Lola.
“Lena, we have to get their spirits back,” said Diane.
“I know, I know, but the only way to do that is to defeat Lord Sorbian,” said Lena. The girls were silent.
“Fine, then we go, to now,” said Kayla.
“What! But Kayla…” said Lena.
“Look, we can’t just sit around here doing nothing, we have to help,” said Kayla.
“Kayla’s right Lena, we have to act now,” said Lola.
“But we need you to help us get to him,” said Stephanie.
“So will you help us?” asked Nikki.
“Please?” said Diane. Lena sighed,
“Fine, fine, I’ll help you, first transform,” said Lena. The girls quickly transformed,
“What now?” Kayla asked.
“Now get in a circle around Kayla,” said Lena.
“Okay,” said Lola. They did what they were told.
“Now Kayla, you get out your Guardian’s Scepter and all of you say: guardian teleport, with either the place or the person you want to see in your mind,”
“Okay, Gua…wait a minute!” cried Kayla.
“What’s wrong?” asked Lena.
“Aren’t you coming with us?” said Kayla. Lena looked down,
“Actually, I thought that I’d only get in the way if I went with you guys, and you already know so much about how to beat him, so…” said Lena.
“Lena, you have to come,” said Kayla.
“Yeah, if it wasn’t for you we wouldn’t have come this far,” said Lola.
“And since, well, you know, we’re going to forget you after we beat him,” said Diane.
“We kind of just wanted to be able to be together for as long as possible,” said Nikki.
“Please, it’ll be kind of like our last wish before we lose our memory,” said Stephanie. Lena blushed,
“Okay, fine, but, let me first do something,” said Lena.
“What?” asked Nikki.
“Well, if one of you gives me just a tiny bit of energy, I can transform into an animal, so I want to transform into a cat,” said Lena.
“Why?” asked Lola.
“Because I’m faster,” said Lena.
“Okay, so Di, you have plenty of energy to spare,” said Stephanie.
“Okay,” said Diane. Diane touched her wand to Lena,
suddenly Lena started to glow, and she transformed into a white cat with a small star on her forehead.
“Hey Lena, you look great, you should stay like that,” said Lola.
“That’s the idea,” said Lena.
“Great, but um…not to be pushy, but we should go,” said Kayla.
“Oh, right,” said Lena. They all once again got in a circle around Kayla,
“Guardian Scepter,” said Kayla.
“GUARDIAN TELEPORT!” the girls cried together. They were glowing like a star, and they soon disappeared, and appeared in a cold, snowy place.

The Challenge

“Hey Steph, hey Di,” said Kayla, Nikki, and Lola. They all reached Stephanie and Diane’s house,
“Hi guys, we’re ready, come one,” said Stephanie.
“Bye mom, bye dad,” said Diane. And they left.
The girls spent the whole day at the amusement park,
“It’s really too bad that Lena couldn’t come with us,” said Lola.
“Yeah, I bet she’d really like it,” said Kayla.
“Well, we can get her some gifts and souvenirs,” said Nikki.
“I guess, come on, I can’t wait to get started,” said Diane. The first thing they did was go on small rides and roller coasters,
“Guys, we have to go on every single ride here, except the little kiddy rides,” said Nikki.
“I bet that if we could fit, Di would make us go on them, right Di?” said Kayla.
“Probably, I know my sister,” said Stephanie. They all laughed and Diane was upset. They soon finished with all the small rides,
“Come on guys, we don’t have all day. We should hurry and go to the big rides, and then we go to the really big one! Now come on!” cried Lola.
“Um, Lola? Technically we do have all…” started Kayla. But Nikki interrupted her,
“Save your breath, this is Lola, and Lola, is, well, Lola,” said she said. Kayla thought about it for a moment, agreed, and they all left.
After they went on a few more rides, playing a lot of games, and winning prizes in every one they played, they felt like going into the haunted house they had there,
“Let’s go, we have to go everywhere, come on, and then after this we go on the last one,” said Diane.
“The big coaster, and then we should go,” said Nikki.
“Sure, sure, let’s go now,” said Stephanie. They went inside, they saw life-like animatronics figures of ghosts and goblins and all kind of creepy monsters. On their way out they heard screaming, they ran and saw that it wasn’t from the rides, people were running away out of the park, they were terrified. When they looked up they saw that it was Lord Sorbian, he was shooting blasts all around, destroying everything in his path. He continued laughing and doing whatever he wanted until he saw the girls and recognized them. He went down and faced them,
“So, you think you’ve won? You think you’ve beaten me?” he said. The girls didn’t say anything, they just looked angrily at him, and he started laughing evilly again.
“Well then, if you think you can beat me, then why not give it a practice run?” said Sorbian. He spotted the haunted house, and shot a beam at it, they soon heard noises coming out of it,
“What’s going on?” asked Di. They turned and jumped back, they saw that Sorbian had made all the figures in the haunted house come to life, and they started attacking the girls, while Sorbian was just sitting and watching them fight.
“Guys! Hurry and Transform,” cried Kayla.
“Guardian Blaze,”
“Cupid”
“Bloom,”
“Aqua,”
“And Purity,”
“TRANSFORM!” Cried the girls. And they transformed, and started fighting. There were five figures, so they each took the responsibility of a different one,
“Aqua Rings,” said Nikki. She bound one of them, then used the water and chained it against the base of a roller coaster. Lola used her Rose Bloom tied it around a tree. Diane’s arrow had kept missing, the one she was fighting was very fast, and Lola saw this and made the grass grow tall enough to trip it,
“Thanks, Cupid’s Arrow,” said Diane. And she stunned it. Stephanie and Kayla’s were the very easy,
“Bits Fire Barrage,” said Stephanie. And her figure lay on the ground. Kayla only had to hit her figure,
“Ribbon Bubbles Ring!” she yelled. And all the figures that Lord Sorbian had possessed turned back to normal. Sorbian, who had been watching this whole time, had become furious, he couldn’t believe that these girls could defeat his demons and monsters. He couldn’t take it,
“Just you wait, you’ll regret the day you ever crossed paths with me!” he yelled. Then he disappeared. The girls instantly were worried about when he would strike next,
“No way it could really be that easy, right?” said Stephanie. She looked at the others,
“No, no way, he’ll be back,” said Kayla.
“And we’ll be ready,” said Diane.
“Yeah,” said Lola.
“But…for now, I think we should just get some rest, see you tomorrow,” said Nikki. And they left for home.
They all got home, but upon reaching there, they all made a shocking discovery!

The Last One

“Yea!” Kayla cried. It was finally here, the last day of school!
“I can’t believe it, no school for three whole months!” said Diane.
“Better believe it, we’re actually eighth graders,” said Stephanie.
“I don’t know about you guys, but I have a lot planned for summer,” said Nikki.
“Definitely,” said Stephanie.
“What about you Lola?” asked Diane. They looked around for her; they found her sitting on a bench thinking about something. She looked very serious, and very confused. They went over to her,
“Hey, what’s wrong Lola?” said Nikki. Lola looked up at them,
“Huh? Oh nothing,” she said.
“Something’s obviously wrong, other wise, why are you sitting here by yourself?” said Stephanie.
“Well…I was just thinking, when will the last demon show up? I mean, I want to live my summer break as a normal kid, not fighting monsters all the time,” said Lola.
“I know what you mean, but don’t worry, we only have one more to go,” said Kayla.
“But Kayla! We still have to fight that Sorbian guy, don’t we?” said Lola.
“Yeah, but…” Nikki interrupted Kayla.
“Don’t worry about that either, I bet we don’t have to battle him, he’ll probably just get scared and run away,” she said. They thought about it for a second then laughed and forgot about the whole thing.
Kayla, Nikki, Lola, Diane, and Stephanie were having fun and enjoying the party at the end of the school day,
“I think I’m one of the happiest persons alive,” said Lola.
“Yep,” said Kayla. They had the best time of their lives; they danced, played games, and just talked with their other friends.
“Hey guys, I think they’re doing the awards and stuff, come on,” said Stephanie. They sat down,
“I’m starving,” said Nikki.
“Nikki!” said Diane.
“Shush! They’ll serve the food after the speeches,” said Kayla. They sat quietly through the whole thing, it finally ended, and the first one to dash towards the table was Nikki. They all got out whatever they wanted, and headed to find somewhere to sit.
“Hey Karen, can we sit here?” said Lola to one of their other friends.
“Sure, said Karen. They sat down and started talking. After a while, Karen started to groan, soon after she turned into a demon! Everyone was screaming, they all ran out of the school. The girls used this chance to change,
“Purity!”
“Aqua!”
“Bloom!”
“Cupid!”
“Blaze!”
“TRANSFORM!” said everybody simultaneously.
“Guys! Just like training!” Kayla cried. For a while they were battling it, but it was no use, they didn’t even scratch it, Kayla even tried to defeat in all in all, but, it just tossed her aside, and she was badly injured. The others were now really mad, they attacked it from all over, and harder than ever. Diane stunned it, Stephanie trapped it in a ring of fire, and Nikki and Lola bound it.
“Kayla hurry, get up!” yelled Diane.
“Come on! It’s our only chance!” said Nikki. Kayla managed to get up,
“Guardian Scepter,” she said. She was about to attack when she noticed something was wrong!
“Kayla! What are you waiting for?” Lola cried.
“No! Something isn’t right! I can’t produce enough energy, I’m too weak!” Yelled Kayla. The girls were shocked; they didn’t know what would happen now. Then they noticed that all their weapons were glowing,
“They’re responding to Kayla’s Scepter!” said Stephanie. They held their weapons up, they were giving their energy to Kayla, and she felt stronger than ever,
“Thanks so much you guys, now it’s my turn,” she said.
“Go for it,” said everyone.
“RIBBON BUBBLES RING!” Yelled Kayla. And in a flash Karen had turned back to normal.
“Wow, Kayla, that was amazing!” cried Lola. Everyone was praising her. All of a sudden Lord Sorbian showed up,
“Hmm…impressive power, but you’ll still never be any match for me *Evil Laugh* so long!” he said.
“Hey Nikki?” said Kayla.
“Yeah?” asked Nikki.
“I think you just lost your bet,” said Kayla.
“But don’t worry, we can beat him, no doubt,” said Stephanie. They all agreed.
The girls were finally able to calm everyone down, they told them that it was a prank that was planned by Karen and them. They continued with the party and went home to finally enjoy their summer.

The girls reached the spot where they met Lena, and they were all tired since they ran all the way there,
“*Panting* Now…there’s a good…exercise,” said Nikki out of breath.
“Agreed, *Gasp*” panted Lola.
“Come on Kayla,” said Stephanie.
“Yeah, let Lena out,” said Diane. Kayla opened the locket, and out came Lena, completely well-rested,
“Okay Lena, we’re tired, we had to run all the way here, so, please, would you just tell us out powers?” said Stephanie.
“Yeah, come on, please” said Kayla.
“Okay,” said Lena, “all you have to do is transform.” The girls took a minute to catch their breath, then they transformed,
“Okay, so what now?” asked Kayla.
“Now Kayla, you use your Guardian’s Scepter to use your Tear Drops Purifier, and aim at that tree,” said Lena.
“Alright,” said Kayla, she got out her scepter and faced the tree, “Tear Drops Purifier!” before she had time to take one breath, she looked up and the tree was healthier, stronger, and sparkling
“Hey, what happened?” said Kayla.
“You purified it,” said Lena.
“Wow,” said Lola.
“Well, okay, now Nikki, you call your Bubbles Ribbon, and use your Aqua Rings,” said Lena. Nikki turned around,
“Okay, Bubbles Ribbon,” a whip with a blue handle appeared in Nikki’s hand, “Aqua Rings!” Nikki cried. Her rings had wrapped around a few trees standing way apart, but Nikki’s rings moved them together,
“Wow, that’s a strong whip,” said Kayla.
“Yeah, no kidding,” said Lola.
“All right, now Lola, your turn,” said Lena.
“Yes,” said Lola.
“You have the Vine Chain, and you use it for your Rose Bloom,” said Lena.
“Okay, Vine Chain, now, Rose Bloom,” said Lola. Her chain wrapped around a tree and pulled it from three yards away, to two inches closed and everyone would have been knocked out
“Oh, My, god,” said Stephanie.
“Hey, now it’s mine and Steph’s turn,” said Diane.
“Alright, Di, you have Love Bow, and use your Cupid's Arrow. And Steph, you have the Fire Grenade, and you use your Bits Fire Barrage," said Lena.
“Love Bow, Cupid’s Arrow,” said Diane. Her arrow stunned some moving leaves and grass.
“Fire Grenade, Bits, Fire, Barrage,” said Stephanie. She blew up some boulders in front of her.
“Okay, now you are all officially Guardians,” said Lena.
“This is so cool,” said Stephanie. They were all talking to each other and practicing their powers, they were all so exited. They all suddenly heard a ringing, it turned out to be Kayla’s phone, and Kayla picked it up,
“Hello?” she said.
“Hello, Kayla? This is Mrs. Rosenberg.
“Hi,”
“Hello, I’m sorry to bother you, but, some kids fell into a poison ivy patch, so I need you to take them back to camp,” said Mrs. Rosenberg.
“Okay, we’re on our way,” said Kayla. She hung up the phone.
“Who was that?” asked Stephanie.
“That was Mrs. Rosenberg, we have to go take some kids back to camp, come on,” said Kayla. Lena went back inside the locket, and they left.

Sleepover

Kayla got out of bed, she was feeling great, and she got ready and went downstairs,
“Hi mom,” she said.
“Hello, better?” said Mrs. Carr.
“Yep, I’m going to walk to school with Nikki, we’re going to eat there then leave,” said Kayla. She grabbed whatever she needed and left.
“Hey Kayla, who do you think the last demon will be?” said Nikki. While they were walking
“I don’t know, I just hope he’s not too strong for us, they’ve have been getting stronger,” said Kayla.
“Hey, I have an idea, my parents are going out of town today for the weekend, why doesn’t everyone come to my house for a sleepover,” said Nikki.
“Okay, sure,” said Kayla.
“And you can also bring Lena, and we can practice too in the training rooms,” said Nikki.
“That’s an amazing idea, come on, we have to tell the others,” said Kayla. And they ran into the school.
At lunch time Kayla and Nikki told Lola, Diane, Stephanie their idea. They thought it was perfect,
“Nice, so tonight right?” said Diane.
“Yep, is that okay with your parents?” said Nikki.
“Definitely,” said Stephanie.
“No problem,” said Lola.
“Great, then after school, you go home, pack your stuff, and you can walk over to my place together,” said Nikki.
“And I’ll bring Lena,” said Kayla. They all agreed.
After school Kayla ran inside,
“Lena,” said Kayla. Lena came out of the locket,
“Yeah,” she said.
“Hey, the girls and I are having a sleepover at Nikki’s house, and since her parents are gone, why don’t you come?” said Kayla. Lena thought about it,
“Sure, that’ll be fun,” she said.
“Great, then after, we can also use your training room, since we want to be prepared,” said Kayla.
“Great, let’s go,” said Lena. They ran out the door.
Lola was the last one to reach Nikki’s house,
“Finally, what happened?” said Diane.
“Sorry, I had a little trouble finding my bag,” said Lola.
“Figures, you never could get organized,” said Nikki.
“Yeah, but, as long as I found it…or one,” said Lola. Everyone looked at her, and then they laughed.
“Hey, I think we should practice first, you know, so we can do whatever later,” said Stephanie.
“Good idea,” said Kayla. Lena came out,
“I fixed everything up, when ever you want to, just go in,” she said. They girl went to the training room, they trained extremely hard, at this point, they knew that they had to be ready, they had no choice. After they were done, they had a small break,
“Lena, you are the best,” said Diane.
“Yeah, I’m so happy that you came up with this,” said Kayla.
“Agreed,” said Lola, then Nikki.
“Yup,” said Stephanie.
After they were done with resting, they tried out the virtual room. They had a big workout,
“I don’t think I’ve ever moved that quickly like that,” said Nikki.
“I don’t think I’ll ever be able to move again,” said Lola.
“Same here,” said Diane.
“Come on, I think we should stop now,” said Stephanie.
“Yeah, come on,” said Kayla.
For the rest of the day the girls just hung out and had fun. They finally had enough of fun, and fell asleep.

Sick

“Kayla, wake up, or you’ll be late…again!” cried Mrs. Carr. Kayla somehow managed to get out of bed, she felt horrible; she had a headache, her stomach felt bad, and it took all of her strength, but she finally stood up. But before she could reach the table, she fell to the ground. Kylie, and Mrs. Carr ran to her,
“Kayla! Are you okay?” said Kylie.
“Come on, help me get her upstairs,” said Mrs. Carr. They got her back in her bed. Kayla had a very high temperature,
“Kylie, can you stay home and take care of her?” asked Mrs. Carr.
“Sure mom, don’t worry,” said Kylie. Mrs. Carr Then Left. Kylie closed the door and went downstairs.
Back at school, the girls were worried, they hadn’t seen Kayla yet, she hadn’t missed a day of school since ever,
“I hope she’s okay,” said Lola.
“Relax, she’s probably okay, she might just be a little sick, we’ll see her after school,” said Nikki.
“That’s true, I’m sure she’s just fine,” said Stephanie. They stopped worrying and sat down.
After school the girls went to Kayla’s house,
“Hey,” said Diane.
“Oh, Hey, what are you guys doing here?” said Kayla.
“We saw that you weren’t at school, so we came to see if you were all right,” said Lola.
“Yeah, I’m fine, I guess I’ve been a little stressed out, but other than that I’m okay,” said Kayla. The girls smiled,
“Well, that’s good, so I’ve got to go, hope you feel better, bye,” said Diane.
“Bye,” said Kayla. They all said their byes, and left. Soon after Kylie came in,
“Are you okay?” she asked.
“Yeah, I’m just going to go to sleep,” said Kayla. Kylie nodded and closed the door.
On the way to back home Stephanie and Kayla saw someone they knew from school, Zoey, they stopped to say hi,
“Hey Zoey,” said Stephanie. She turned around,
“Oh, hi guys, what are you doing here?” said Zoey.
“Well, Kayla was a little sick, so we just stopped by there, and this is the way home from her place,” said Stephanie.
“Yeah, so, do you live near?” said Diane.
“Yeah, I just wanted to try this new route,” said Zoey.
“Cool, you want to walk home together?” asked Stephanie.
“Sure, come on,” said Zoey. The girls talked the whole way, and they became really good friends. They soon passed a bakery,
“Wow, that smells good,” said Diane.
“Yeah, no kidding, don’t you think Zo?” said Stephanie. They turned and looked at her,
“Um, yeah, sure,” she said. She didn’t look okay, and her head was hurting. Zoey soon collapsed and sat on the ground. And before they had a chance to react Zoey had become a demon, the girls were shocked,
“Di, quick, we have to transform,” said Stephanie. They went in the back and got out their wands,
“Guardian Blaze, transform,” said Stephanie.
“Guardian Cupid, transform,” said Diane. They faced the demon,
“Bits Fire Barrage,” yelled Stephanie. She gave it a direct hit, but it only scratched it a little,
“Cupid’s Arrow!” cried Diane. It stunned it, but only for a few seconds. It was beating them, and they couldn’t do anything. Just as it was about to smash them against the tree,
“Aqua Rings!” they looked up, they saw Nikki and Lola. The ran to Stephanie and Diane,
“Are you guys okay?” asked Lola.
“Yeah, thanks,” said Diane.
“Come on, we have to battle really hard, especially since Kayla isn’t here,” said Nikki. They agreed and went on battling.
Back at Kayla’s house, Kayla was just getting to sleep when she heard a beep and realized it was from her wand. Then Lena popped out,
“Kayla, there’s a demon at the nearest bakery, you have to hurry and help the others,” she said.
“What? No,” said Kayla. She got out of bed quickly,
“Come on, I know you’re sick, but this is a powerful demon, you have to help them,” said Lena.
“Right, Guardian Purity, transform,” said Kayla. She transformed and escaped through the window.
Kayla finally reached and saw the other girls battling for their lives. Kayla stumbled over there,
“Guys!” she called out. The all turned,
“Kayla!” said Stephanie.
“What are you doing?” asked Lola.
“I have to help you,” said Kayla.
“No, you have to leave,” said Nikki.
“Nikki, I won’t leave until that demon is done,” said Kayla.
“Fine, but please, let us do all the work, we don’t want you getting hurt,” said Diane. Kayla hesitantly agreed. The girls kept battling it, until it finally was weakened,
“Kayla, now!” cried Nikki. Kayla was about to use the scepter, when she felt faint, and she almost fell, when Nikki, Lola, Diane, and Stephanie got a hold of her,
“Come on,” said Lola.
“Tear Drops Purifier,” said Kayla. Everything returned to normal. Stephanie and Diane stayed with Zoey, and Lola and Nikki helped get Kayla back,
“Kayla, don’t ever do that again,” said Lola.
“Yeah, you could have seriously gotten hurt,” said Nikki.
“Okay, next time,” said Kayla. The smiled and left. And Kayla went to sleep.

Meet Kayla Carr, Nikki Hanson, Lola Wheeler, Stephanie Walker, and her little twin sister, Diane Walker, as they go on an adventure of a lifetime. While on a camping trip these girls stumble across a mysterious tablet and meet Lena, a floating little puffball full of information. The girls learn the biggest secret of their lives. THEY HAVE SPECIAL POWERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now they have to protect the Earth from being taken over and eventually destroyed by demons who reside in the bodies of normal, everyday people, or so they think. So watch Guardians Purity, Aqua, Roots, Igneous, and Cupid, save everyone they love, in my story, "Guardians-The Adventures of Five Friends."

The First Battle

When the girls got back to camp, they had to take at least five kids to the nurse’s, and then they went to their cabins and started talking,
“Wow, this is so cool, I love the feeling of having powers,” said Diane.
“Me too, I love this,” said Kayla.
“I can’t wait till we can actually use them in battle,” said Nikki.
“Speaking of which, when do get to use them in battle?” Lola asked.
“Yeah, hey Lena, how do these creatures, or demons, or whatever come out of the people’s bodies?” said Stephanie.
“Whenever they smell a certain aroma,” said Lena.
“What do you mean?” asked Nikki.
“Like, it’s different for each one, but, well, it’s kind of like an allergy, if they smell it, they in a way get sick, and go crazy, then the demon comes out,” explained Lena.
“Wow, stinks for them,” said Stephanie,
“Yeah, I wonder when we get to fight our first one,” said Lola. Diane suddenly smelled something,
“Hey, do you guys smell mint?” she said.
“Actually, yes, I do,” said Lola.
“Did anybody bring any?” asked Nikki.
“Nope,” said Kayla.
“Not me,” said Stephanie. They soon heard a loud scream, and they ran outside. They saw the nurse and in front of her, with they’re back turned was a monster,
“Hey, that’s a demon,” said Lena.
“Oh yeah, Guardian Purity, transform,” said Kayla.
“Guardian Aqua, transform,” said Nikki.
“Guardian Bloom,”
“Guardian Cupid,”
“Guardian Blaze,”
“Transform” the girls said together. They all changed,
“Finally, I was wondering when I would use this,” said Stephanie. They ran towards the monster, and Kayla called to it,
“Hey,” she said. It wouldn’t turn around,
“Hello, Demon, person, thing,” said Stephanie. It still wouldn’t look at the girls, they were getting very upset, and Kayla finally called out her scepter,
“Guardian, Flash Fire,” she said. Kayla hit the Demon in the leg, and then it finally turned around and looked at the girls. They were all too scared to move,
“Now I wish I wouldn’t have done that,” said Kayla.
“Me too,” said Lola.
“Come on guys, you have to fight it,” said Lena.
“Well, in case you haven’t noticed!” said Diane.
“It’s creepy looking!” said Nikki.
“Just go,” said Lena. The girls took a few steps forward, the demon suddenly grew long and sharp nails and tried to slash at the girls, but they jumped and dodged,
“Aqua Rings!” cried Nikki. She banded the demon, and it stopped in its tracks, all the girls, except Kayla, fired at it. It soon got weak and tired, and so did the girls, but Kayla still didn’t move, she was too scared,
“Come on Kayla, before it gets up again,” said Nikki.
“Hurry!” shouted Lola.
“Kayla!” said Stephanie.
“Now!” said Diane. Kayla was still too scared. Then Lena came out,
“Kayla, why aren’t you going?” she asked.
“Look at that thing, it scares me,” said Kayla.
“So you don’t think that they’re scared?”
“Yeah,”
“They are, same as you, but they still fight, and if you don’t either, then you’ll let everyone down,” said Lena.
“Fine, okay,” said Kayla.
“Kayla, hurry up,” said Nikki.
“Tear Drops, PURIFIER!” shouted Kayla. In a flash the demon was gone, and a kid appeared in its place. They took the kid back to the nurse, and everyone was safe. Nikki, Lola, Diane, and Stephanie ran to Kayla,
“Thanks for that,” said Lola.
“I’m sorry, I was just a little scared, but I won’t do that again, promise,” said Kayla.
“That’s okay, come on, we better go,” said Nikki.
“That was so cool, and we did great for out first time,” said Stephanie.
“Agreed,” said Diane. The girls changed back and went back to their cabin.

The Guardians

All day all the girls could think about was Lena. They didn’t pay attention to any of their activities, they didn’t really have fun in any of the games, and they paid little attention to the kids. They couldn’t wait till the end of the day. When dinner was finally over they hurried to their cabin. Kayla opened the locket and Lena popped out,
“Hi,” she said.
“Hey,” said Kayla.
“Hey, so what were you saying before we left?” asked Lola.
“Oh yeah, so I was saying, that if I’m out here with you, and If you are the ones that set me free, then YOU MUST BE THE GUARDIANS!” she exclaimed.
“Calm down, we don’t want people to hear you, that would be very bad,” said Diane.
“The what?” asked Stephanie.
“The guardians,” said Lena. Lena told them everything. When she was finished everyone was surprised and stunned,
“WHAT?” they said.
“It’s true,” said Lena.
“But…how…what…huh?” stuttered Stephanie.
“So you’re saying, that us five are people called the guardians, we transform into these people with superhuman powers, and we have to save Earth from monsters called Demons, who live in other peoples’ bodies?” said Kayla.
“Okay, so let’s say that you’re telling the truth, how do we find these demons or whatever?” said Lola.
“You use these,” said Lena. She brought out five wands, each one had a different tip, one had a star, another had a crescent moon, the one next to it had a sun, and the last ones had a heart and one had fire on it, “these are the wands you use to transform, these are also used to detect the demons.”
“So prove it,” said Nikki.
“Okay,” said Lena. She gave Kayla the star wand, Nikki the moon, Lola the sun, Diane the heart, and Stephanie the fire one. They all had no idea what to do,
“So what now?” asked Stephanie.
“Well first, I have to help you transform, but one at a time. Kayla first,” said Lena. Kayla looked around; she was kind of scared and confused,
“Okay, she said. She went up to Lena,
“Alright, now, first you are Guardian Purity, so what you have to say, is, Guardian Purity, transform,” said Lena, “try it.”
“Okay, Guardian Purity, transform,” said Kayla. In a flash Kayla had transformed, she was wearing a white dress with spikes covering it at the bottom, she also had white boots, in her hand she had a scepter with a star, and at the tip there was a silver crystal,
“That crystal is called the silver millennium crystal, I has immense power all its own, but you should only use it when you really need it, because it’ll drain all you’re life power, nothing will be left,” said Lena.
“No problem,” said Kayla.
“Okay, so now Nikki,” said Lena. Nikki went to her, “You are Guardian Aqua, power over water,”
“So, Guardian Aqua, transform,” said Nikki. She wore the same outfit as Kayla, except her dress was blue.
“Now you three, you are Guardians Bloom for Lola, Cupid for Di, and Blaze for Steph, powers over nature, love, and fire.
“Guardian Roots, transform,”
“Guardian Cupid, transform,”
“Guardian Igneous, transform,” everyone had the same outfit, but, Lola’s was green, Diane’s was orange, and Stephanie’s was red.
“Okay, now powers,” said Lena.
“Umm, Lena, could we learn our powers later?” said Kayla.
“Why?” asked Lena.
“Well, we’re trying them out for the first time, so we think we should try them out in an open space,” said Nikki.
“Because we really don’t want to break the cabin,” said Diane.
“Sure, when?” said Lena.
“How about when we go on the hiking trip day after tomorrow?” asked Lola.
“Yeah, how about where we met Lena?” said Stephanie.
“Okay,” said Lena.
“*Yawn*, now, let’s go to sleep, we have to get up early don’t forget,” said Diane.
“Yeah, night,” said Kayla. She put Lena back in the locket, put everything in a bag and hid it so no one would find it, put the locket on the table and slept.

“Guys, I’m so refreshed now, I feel great,” said Kayla.
“Yeah, same here,” said Diane.
“So, we have the community service thing starting to day?” said Stephanie.
“Lola, Meg, Sarah, and I are repainting a house,” said Kayla.
“Yep” said Lola.
“Nikki and I have park duty,” said Diane
“Agh!” groaned Nikki.
“And I have to go work in the library,” said Stephanie. They heard a voice on the intercom,
“Students, please report to your community service groups,” they left and started working.
“Hey Kayla, will you hand me that roller?” said Kayla’s friend, Meg.
“Sure,” Kayla said. She handed her the roller.
“This is actually really easy,” said Lola. The others agreed,
“So, what color should we paint it?” asked their other friend. Sarah.
“What did the owner’s say?” they don’t really care, just not too bright,” said Meg.
“What about white?” Said Kayla.
“Yeah, simple, and elegant,” said Lola.
“Perfect,” said Meg.
“Let’s get started,” said Sarah. They started painting. After a while Meg started to get a little dizzy,
“Are you okay?” asked Lola.
“Um, yeah,” said Meg. Lola and Kayla looked at each other, they didn’t like where this was going, and they had a hunch. It turned out they were right, a few minutes later, Meg had transformed into a demon. Sarah ran outside screaming. Kayla and Lola transformed, and started battling.
“I bet the others don’t have to battle one,” said Lola. Lola was very wrong. At the park, Diane and Nikki were battling their own problem; one of the workers had also turned into a demon, and at the library, the librarian turned into one too! They were battling separately for the first time, and they had no idea what they should do, these demons were very strong, and difficult to beat.
“Kayla, HELP!” Yelled Lola. Demon Meg was choking her, so Kayla blasted it, and it let her go,
“Thanks *coughs*” said Lola.
“What are we going to do?” asked Kayla.
“Wait, I’ve got an idea, you keep it distracted, and I’ll be right back,” said Lola. She ran outside, and later came back. Lola had extended the grass and she pinned the demon up against the wall.
“Nice Job, my turn now,” said Kayla, “TEAR DROPS PURIFIER!” And just like that Meg changed back. Lola and Kayla had changed back too,
“That was really easy actually,” said Lola.
“Yeah, now come on, we have to go get Sarah,” said Kayla. They finally calmed Sarah down and went back to Meg, and then they finished their job and went home.
Back at the park Nikki and Diane were getting the hang of it too,
“Aqua Rings,” Nikki trapped it.
“Cupid’s Arrow,” Diane had stunned it.
“Now! AQUA RINGS”
“CUPID’S ARROW!” said Diane and Nikki simultaneously. They had finally beaten it.
At the Library, Stephanie took it outside and surrounded it with a ring of fire, she ran and called Kayla,
“Kayla, help me, I’m at the library and the librarian is a demon, hurry,” she said.
“Just wait, I’m on my way,” said Kayla. She hung up and ran. She had just reached there in time, she found Stephanie hiding behind the building,
“Steph, come on, Just hit it, and I’ll take care of the rest,” said Kayla.
“Yeah,” said Stephanie, “Bits Fire Barrage!”
“Alright, Tear Drops Purifier,” cried Kayla. And another Monster transformed back along with the girls.
When they all got back to school they had a lot to talk about,
“Can you believe it though, just two more!” said Stephanie.
“I know right!” said Kayla.
“I can’t wait to get home, so tired,” said Diane.
“Yeah,” Lola.
“Bye,” said Nikki. She left, and so did they.

“YEA!” Kayla cried in happiness. She jumped in the air. Her and the others were celebrating the fact that they only have five demons left to go.
“I can’t believe it, just a few more, then you get your life back,” said Lena.
“Hey, Lena, I’ve been wanting to ask you,” said Nikki.
“Yeah?” asked Lena.
“Well, when all the demons and Sorbian are defeated, then, what will happen next?” asked Nikki.
“Yeah, What will happen to you?” said Diane. Lena’s smile quickly faded,
“Well, when you defeat them all, then you go back and start over, you won’t remember anything about me, or the Guardians,” she said. The girls stopped in their tracks, they were shocked,
“Wait, so, we won’t…remember?” said Nikki.
“Anything at all?” said Lola.
“But, don’t worry, let’s just have fun and celebrate,” said Lena.
“Yeah,” said the girls glumly. They sat down, they didn’t feel like eating, talking, or really doing anything at all.
The next day at school the girls over heard a bunch of people talking about them,
“Hey, did you hear about the new heroes in town?” said one girl.
“Yeah, I saw them take down two monsters in the park, so cool,” said the other. They heard things like this in school and out, and this made them feel a little better,
“This is cool, we get a little recognition,” said Lola.
“Yeah guess,” said Kayla. The girls went home and, all they thought of was Lena. Kayla was laying in bed she and didn’t really pay attention to anything that was going on. Seeing what was going on, Lena went to Kayla.
“Hey, Kayla, we really need to talk,” she said.
“Yeah?” said Kayla.
“You know, you shouldn’t be sad, if I’m going to go, then, I’m going to go, so, you can’t change that, so might as well be happy and forget it,” said Lena.
“But…” Kayla said.
“No buts, it will happen, so just have fun, and so will everyone else, including me,” said Lena. Kayla smiled,
“You know, you’re right, I’ll tell the girls, thanks so much Lena.
Later Kayla called Nikki, she told her exactly what Lena said, and she also said to tell the others,
“Nik, she’s right, if we really can’t escape that fact, then we might as well accept it, and be happy,” said Kayla.
“Yeah, so, bye, see you tomorrow,” said Nikki. Kayla hung up and went to sleep.

A Birthday to Remember

The next day after school the girls rushed to Kayla’s home. After going over the plan once again they called Lena out,
“Hey, Lena, I need your help,” said Diane. Lena came out of the locket and looked at Diane,
“What do you need Di?” she asked.
“Um, well, see, I kind of need help with, uh…” Diane was speechless, she had no idea what to say, but Kayla covered for her,
“She needs help picking out an outfit, she has no idea what to pick,” she said.
“Um, right, so will you help me?” she said.
“Sure, but how? Everyone will see me,” said Lena.
“You can hide, in my jacket, come on let’s go,” Diane. Before they left Kayla pulled her aside,
“We’ll call you as soon as we’re ready, hurry up though,” she said.
“Don’t worry,” said Diane. And they left.
About an hour later the girls were done with the preparations for the party. They were about to call Diane when they heard their wands beep and got worried. Then they heard a strange, but familiar noise outside,
“Um, you don’t think,” said Kayla.
“No, not today of all days, just one week, please,” said Lola.
“Are you kidding me,” said Nikki.
“Let’s go,” said Kayla.
“Fine,” said Stephanie. The girls went outside with sad and angry faces. They saw a bunch of people running from the park out side the house; they also saw two demons scaring them away,
“TWO!” they all yelled.
“Hurry, we have to fight them, let’s go” said Stephanie. On their way they ran into someone,
“Hey, do you know what happened?” Kayla asked him.
“I just saw a couple in the park underneath that tree,” he said pointing to a tree covered in flowers.
“It must have been the pollen,” said Nikki.
“Guys, lets hurry, Di might have gotten the signal too, and she’s probably on her way here now,” said Lola.
“Oh, then no surprise, come on, let’s go,” said Nikki. The girls transformed and tried to hit them, but their attacks wouldn’t work, each demon protected the other, whenever the girls tried to attack, the other would always get in the way. Even when they were both attacked at the same time they always blocked,
“What should we do?” asked Stephanie.
“We’re getting beat,” said Nikki.
“And we’re all tired out,” said Kayla. Something suddenly popped into Nikki’s head,
“Hey!” she cried.
What?” asked Lola.
“What if we trick them into letting their guard down?” said Nikki.
“Yeah!” cried Kayla, “And I think I know how.”
“How?” asked Stephanie.
“All we have to do is act like we give up, they calm down, and then, when they aren’t looking we should sneak up behind them, Lola, since you control nature, you can make it so we don’t make noise on the ground and then we attack,” said Kayla. She was completely out of breath.
“Uh…sure, I just can’t believe I understood that, come on, let’s go,” said Lola. The girls turned around and left, the demons watched them and thought they gave up, and then they sat down. Soon Lola led the way and Nikki and Stephanie separated them,
“Guardian’s Scepter! TEAR DROPS PURIFIER!” yelled Kayla. The demons were gone and the couple appeared in their place unconscious on the ground.
“GUYS!” they heard a voice. They looked up and saw Diane running towards them,
“Hi!” said Stephanie. Diane came with Lena. When she was close she was gasping for air,
“Hi, okay, I’m ready to…fight…them?” she said. Diane looked around, she couldn’t see a single demon in sight. All she could see were a bunch of confused people and the girls. They went inside and told Diane and Lena the whole story,
“Two! Wow, that makes it seven down, just five to go,” she cried.
“Yeah, and we also have a little surprise for Lena,” said Kayla. Lena was surprised,
“Really?” she said.
“Yep, inside, come on,” said Nikki. They blindfolded Lena then led her inside. They removed the blindfold and Lena saw her beautiful party,
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY LENA!” they all cried. Lena was extremely happy,
“You remembered?” she asked.
“Duh!” said Lola.
“Are you kidding, come on,” said Nikki.
“Thanks so much,” said Lena.
“Hey, remember, now thanks,” said Stephanie. They all laughed.
